Potlatch Methodology: Lunch & Learn Series

APRIL 24, 2019, B.C.

ABOUT THIS EVENT

A lunch series for BCIT employees facilitated by Diversity Circles and Communication Department Faculty.

We are excited to be joined by Justin Wilson (Langara, Aboriginal Student Development Coordinator) and Aaron “Splash” Nelson-Moody (BCIT House Post Carver and Langara Carving Instructor) to share with us their work on Potlatch Methodology.

As described in detail in the resource provided (link below), Potlatch Methodology can be seen as both an effective inclusive teaching methodology and a way towards Indigenizing institutions. Please try to read this article ahead of time: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/tl.20329.

Lunch will be provided. ASL interpretation available upon request.
